TREATMENT for:
SPLINTERS - ripen banana peel on the affected area wrapped overnight. Helps bring up the foreign body up to the surface for easy removal the next day.
DANDRUFF - 1part apple cider vinegar / 1part water into a spray bottle. Spray and massage into scalp. Turbine towel your hair for 15 mins. Shampoo then wash off. Repeat 3 days in a row then 2x/wk. Helps break down the bacteria/yeast dandruffs thrive on.
BAD BREATH / GINGIVITIS - chew on a piece of sage to treat those nasty bad breath and inflammation on your gums.
CALLUSES - take a real licorice stick (not the candy one) and grind in a coffee bean grinder. Then add 1/2 tsp. of sesame oil to make a paste. Apply to affected area and seal with a bandage. Wear overnight then wash in the a.m.
ECZEMA - add 1/2 box of the small size baking soda to a warm water bath and soak for 20-30 mins. Rinse and repeat when needed.
MUSCLE WORKOUT CRAMPS - if you have tried extra Potassium and Magnesium replacement and it failed to relief those painful cramp, try drinking 2.5 oz of pickle juice to treat those onset muscle cramps. It takes about 85 seconds to work. Trainers have recommended this tip to their athletes with much success. NOTE: it does NOT work for menstrual cramps!
TIPS to ADD for HEALTHY LIVING:
- When going to the bathroom, try squatting instead of sitting to work those leg muscles and back. It helps increase the flow and time to do your business. Plus it prevents the risk for hemorrhoids.
- Shop at the perimeter of your store. If you take a look at the layout of your favorite grocery store. Everything in the middle are what they consider "fillers" to occupy the original healthy stuff. Vegetables, fruits, meats, milk, etc are always placed around the store not in the aisle. Interesting huh?
- I'm not a big wine drinker but when i do consume wine my choice is a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. This particular red includes the highest antioxidant called Polyphenols that prevent cell damage from free radicals. Also Cabs contain the most amount of Resveratrol which increases the "good" cholesterol and slows down the "bad" cholesterol. NOTE: Please consume in moderation. Max 1 glass for women and 2 glasses for men.
